Welcome to the Ann Arbor (MI) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated!
The foundation of our chapter is built upon genuine and enduring friendship. It is the unbreakable bond among our members that fuels our dedication and creativity. This sisterly connection allows us to uplift, inspire, and challenge one another, ensuring that every endeavor we undertake is executed with excellence, joy, and a unified purpose. Our friendship is our greatest strength, making our work more impactful and our journey together deeply rewarding.
Focused on Community Impact
Our commitment to Washtenaw County is unwavering. We are dedicated to implementing high-impact, sustainable programming that addresses the most pressing needs of our community, particularly focusing on crucial areas of well-being and equity. Through our five Facets—Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services—we are actively working to create positive change.
Elevating Health & Wellness: Under our Health and Human Services Facet, we are prioritizing initiatives focused on Black maternal health, working to reduce disparities and promote positive birth outcomes. We also host our annual Black Family Wellness Expo, which provides essential resources, screenings, and education to enhance the overall health and vitality of Black families within Washtenaw County.
Empowering our Youth: We focus on educational readiness, mentorship, and career exploration to ensure the next generation of leaders in Washtenaw County is equipped for success.
Celebrating The Arts: We support and present programs that showcase artistic talent and provide cultural enrichment to diverse audiences across the county.
Driving Social Change: We are engaged in civic action and service projects that address critical issues such as economic empowerment and social justice right here in our local communities.
Our programs are not just events; they are investments in the future of Washtenaw County, meticulously designed to foster equity and provide tangible benefits to those we serve.
